No lane closures are scheduled for Del Norte County this week.


Humboldt County

Route 101 (5.9/36.1) – Caltrans will resume routine maintenance from the Edward C. Wagner Bridge to Dyerville beginning Monday, January 5.  Work hours are 8AM to 3:30PM, weekdays.  Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel.  Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns.   LC#M101DA

Route 101 (39.8/43.0) – Sinkhole repair at approximately 2 miles north of Redcrest will continue. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns.  LC#M101AA

Route 169 (28.4) – A barrier wall project near Rube Ranch Creek Bridge will continue.  One-way traffic control with temporary stop signs is in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.  Contractor – Mercer Fraser of Eureka.  LC#C169BA

Route 255 (0.1) – A median barrier and lighting project at 3rd Street will resume Wednesday, January 7.  Work hours are 8AM to 5PM, weekdays.  Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel.  Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns.  Contractor – Kernen Construction of Blue Lake.  LC#C255CA


Lake County

Route 20 (21.9/22.6) – Epidendio Construction of Lower Lake has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for guardrail repair from Verna Way to Paradise Cove beginning Monday, January 5. Work hours are 9AM to 3PM, weekdays.  Intermittent one-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.  LC#P20EA

Route 20 (38.5/42.0) – A roadway realignment project from 1.4 miles east of the North Fork Cache Creek Bridge to 1.6 miles west of Walker Ridge Road will continue.  Work hours are 7AM to 5PM, weekdays.   One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.  Contractor – Argonaut Constructors of Santa Rosa.  LC#C20ZE

Route 29 (6.8/7.8) – A slide repair project from the Lupiyoma Creek Bridge to Bar X Ranch will continue.  Work hours are 7AM to 5PM, weekdays.  A shoulder closure will be in effect with intermittent one-way traffic control.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. Contractor – Argonaut Constructors of Santa Rosa.   LC#C29TD

Route 175 (8.3/28.0) – PG&E of Ukiah has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree trimming from the junction of Route 29/175 in Kelseyville to the junction of Route 29/175 in Middletown beginning Tuesday, January 6.  Work hours are 7AM to 3PM, weekdays.  Intermittent one-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.  LC#P175AA

Route 281 (14.0/17.0) – Caltrans will continue routine maintenance from 0.9 miles west of Tenino Way to the junction of Route 29/281. Work hours are 8:30AM to 3:30PM, weekdays.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.  LC#M281AA


Mendocino County

Route 1 (33.9/38.9) – AT&T of Ukiah has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work between Philo Greenwood Road and Navarro Bluff Road. Work hours are 8AM to 4PM, weekdays.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.  LC#P1HA

Route 101 (3.1/4.5) – A pavement repair project from 0.1 miles north to 1.5 miles north of Comminsky Station Road will continue. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101EA

Route 101 (35.8/37.5) – Roadway repair due to pavement deterioration from 3.6 miles south of Ridgewood Ranch Road to 1.9 miles south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction of travel 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists may experience minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101GA

Route 162 (0.7) – A bridge widening project at Outlet Creek Bridge will continue.  One-way traffic control with a temporary signal is in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.  Contractor – Viking Construction Company, Incorporated of Rancho Cordova.  LC#C162XA

Route 162 (10.1/17.5) – Caltrans will perform routine maintenance from Rodeo Creek Bridge to Hosea Creek beginning Tuesday, January 6.  Work hours are 8:30AM to 3PM, weekdays.  One-way traffic control will be in effect.  Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays.  LC#M162AA

Please keep in mind work on all these projects is weather permitting and subject to change. Caltrans wishes to advise motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.

The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above. (Bold type denotes a change from the previous bulletin.)
